So Cute

Hi Everyone!

I just wanted to share this with you. I was at work last night at Once Upon A Toy and we have this area where you can make your own lightsaber which I personally think is cool and want one for myself! :-) Anyway, I was over there helping kids build their own lightsaber and there was one little kid who just getting a kick out of it and I helped him build his lightsaber from start to finish. He was so excited and then he handed me this little card which is basically a thank you and I thought it was so cute! I guess his parents had printed out a bunch of these before they came down on vacation and I think it's a great idea and love that this little boy gave me one! :-)

Deployment this week 4/10

So for the past two weeks I've been deployed to World of Disney which is the biggest store at Downtown Disney and pretty much sells anything Disney. They have 16 rooms and I don't even know how to describe it except for HUGE! Today was my last day working there and I just wanted to show you guys my costume there. :-)

Jellyrolls

So last night I went out with some friends of mine and we went to a dueling piano bar on Disney's Boardwalk. It was actually pretty cool. You have two guys playing piano and you can go request a song for them to play by writing the song on a napkin and taking it up to them. We had fun with that and wanted to see about stumping them! My roommate Kala requested any Lady Gaga song which they played "Poker Face" which was great but I have to say the highlight was me requesting "Single Ladies" by Beyonce. They played the song and one of the guys who works there jumped up on stage and did the whole dance while they were playing! It was hilarious and if for some reason you don't know the dance I recommend you look it up on YouTube and imagine a guy doing it! We also walked around the boardwalk which was great and the weather was so nice! It was a good night and I can't wait to go back to Jellyrolls! :-)

Happy Easter

So today is Easter and I didn't really do a whole lot. I had the day off and I pretty much just relaxed because tomorrow I work a 12 hour shift. My roommate Kala decided she wanted to dye some eggs so I helped her and I thought I'd share some of the pictures with you! Hope everyone had a good Easter! :-)

Quick Note 4/4

Hi everyone,

Just wanted to give a quick note and update and everything here in FL. This week I was deployed to a store called World of Disney. It is still in Downtown Disney and it is the BUSIEST store there. I have never seen that store slow. I was not happy about being deployed there but I figured it would make the time go by quicker with it being a busy store. Well, time definitely flew but I was more stressed this past week then I've ever been before.

For those that don't know I actually have anxiety (and ADD but that's another subject), I actually do not like large crowds. I try to avoid crowds if I can. Well, that was very hard this week and this past Monday I had a big panic attack at work. I was given a stocking shift which means that I was out in the store and it was my job to put items away in a particular area. I was trying to do that and was surrounded by people and fixtures and began to feel closed in. I don't even know how to describe how it felt but it wasn't good. I went into the back to get away from the crowd and try and calm down. I did eventually calm down and a manger saw my panic attack and assigned me to a register for the rest of my shift. I'm now in the process of getting some forms done by my doctor so Disney can avoid scheduling me in areas like the World of Disney where I could be prone to another panic attack. There's really nothing else to report, this upcoming week I'm scheduled at World of Disney again but hopefully the forms I need will be done and something can be done about me working at that store. I don't want to have another panic attack. But besides work, there's nothing else to tell you about because Disney has been so busy with spring break so I've been scheduled a lot of hours and been too tired to go out anywhere after work. Hopefully though when the spring break craziness has calmed down I'll be able to explore Orlando some more.
