Update 7/17/10

Hi everyone, just wanted to give you all an update to how everything is going here in Orlando. Last weekend my parents came down with all of my stuff from North Carolina and my cat, Belle. It was great to have them here and they really helped me get everything set up in my apartment. I really feel lucky to have my parents. My apartment looks completely different than it did before they got here. I had my couches delived last week while my parents were here and I've gotten a couple of other things and now I've just got to do the little decorating things to finish the apartment out but that will come after time. I'll take picture some time this week so everyone can see the progress of my apartment.

On another great note, I have a new job. This past Tuesday I started working at an apartment community as a leasing consultant. The community I work at is in Winter Park, FL which is about 20 mins from my apartment. It's a nice little community and the staff has been there for years so I'm happy to be working with them. I'm also happy to be a leasing consultant again so it's great to be doing something I enjoy again.

So between my new apartment and my new job, I'm doing good. I'm looking forward to see what's coming next in my life. :-)

New Apartment 7/3/10

So I moved into my new apartment this weekend and I'm all unpacked. I have a one bedroom apartment which does mean that I'm living on my own. It's a great experience and I've never lived without a roommate or parents or anyone before so this should be interesting. It's a good apartment, nice size kitchen, washer and dryer, fireplace (I don't know why I need a fireplace in Orlando but ok), and a screened in balcony. My parents are coming down later this week with my stuff from North Carolina and most importantly my cat, Belle. I'm excited to see my parents and have my stuff and of course Belle. Here are some pics of the apartment I've taken this weekend. There will be more once I get the rest of my things.

Titanic The Experience 6/29/10
