Wow I can't believe that it's been over a month since I've posted anything on my blog. I'm sorry everyone but there's been a lot going on. For everyone that is on Facebook you probably know most of what has happened. I'm going to just go through the basics of what has happened. First off, I am no longer working for Disney. I hurt my back when I was doing housekeeping and I unfortunately missed too many days of work. The college program is pretty strict on their attendance and so I was let go. I wasn't sad because I figured it was just time to move on to the next chapter of my life. Now I can reapply to be a cast member with Disney in 6 months and I might be a seasonal cast member just to keep the perks but I don't see myself working for Disney full time.
Now since I am no longer working for Disney that also means that I am no longer living in Disney housing. I moved out of my Disney apartment and I've been staying with my cousin and his family in Palmetto which is near St. Petersburg. I'm very lucky to have them and I'm garteful for all the help that they have given me. Luckily I was able to get another job, I am now working for Wyndham Vacation Ownership in their call center. I am doing Inbound Transfer Sales which basically means that when people are transfered to me I'm trying to selling them a vacation package which involves them going on a timeshare presentation. It's a good job and I'm happy to have a job but I'm looking for a job at an apartment community since that's what I did back in Charlotte.
Another bit of good news is this weekend I will be moving into my new apartment. I got a one bedroom apartment in Orlando near my school and I'm excited to move in. My cousin and his family are going to help me move and my parents plan on bringing my stuff from Charlotte next week. I'm just excited to start this next chapter of my life.
